MBI Research Institute, Inc. (MBI) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for under served people and empower them to be self-sufficient. The Institute is dedicated to the advancement of healthcare, education, economic empowerment and social welfare.

The Institute is headquartered in Washington, DC and operates both within the United States and around the world. The Institute is governed by it's own independent Board of Trustees and managed by a team selected from scientific, scholarly, and professional disciplines. The Institute receives it's support from public and private grants and donations as well as community fundraising.

MBI Research Institute's roots stretch back to the personal efforts of MBI's executive staff members, who jointly supported community projects for several decades. Their benevolence and philanthropy earned the trust of local communities in the United States and abroad, evolving into an independent 501(c)(3)* entity with a worldwide presence.

MBI Research Institute remains responsive and innovative to the changing needs of society, serving the public welfare by pioneering or supporting programs to help build sustainable, healthy and productive communities in the U.S. and overseas.
